Biography

Aaron HALL was born on 19 June 1766 in Grafton, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Jonathan HALL and Mary STOW.^[1] A tree at ancestry stated his mother's name was Mary STOW, the daughter of Abner STOW and his wife Mary ADAMS - note: maiden name of the wife of Abner STOW was provided by her profile on wikitree. The source provided for his mother's maiden name was for a Sons of the American Revolution Supplemental application for the great grandson of Johnathan HALL, Sr. (March 1783 - August 1825). The information on the form seems to match the brother of Aaron HALL, Johnathan HALL, Jr. listed below in the list of siblings. The same tree lists another application for Abner STOW with the Sons of the American Revolution which included a listing of his ancestry back to Abner STOW. One of the listed ancestors was Johnathan HALL, Jr. which listed his mother as Mary STOW and her parents as Abner STOW (1705 - 8 Dec. 1783) and his wife Mary (1707 - 1786). Both applications were filed by George Horace BARBER in 1928. As George Horace BARBER listed on his forms that he was born 6 August 1851, he is a known deceased individual.

This biography was started with a gedcom import on 30 August 2011.^[9] The original information stated only that Aaron HALL was born about 1765. No other information was provided by the submitter, the submitter's account was labled a "closed account" and this profile was also abandoned. Without further information and no way to contact the submitter of the original information, this profile as it stood would have had no chance of finding the correct individual from the submission. A search on Ancestry for a tree by the submitter was performed on 28 October 2017 and no matches were found. A search on Family Search to see if any possible matches were available in the trees over on that website and no matches were found. There were however at least 3 or more possible individuals who could be the profiled individual and had no matches to individuals already profiled on wikitree. It was decided to make this profile about one of those possible matches and make additional profiles for the other matches to cover all known possibilities for this individual.
