Research Notes

Re: Return to Iowa
Barton Butler and the families of George Cullins, N.W. Butler, and Edward Smith were together in Lee's Summit, Missouri for six years. The Cullins daughter Florence was born in Missouri in 1870; daughter Hattie was born in 1876. It's uncertain if Hattie was born before or after they returned to Iowa.

The 1880 census says she was born in Iowa. An additional source would be helpful.
