Biography

Joanna Smith Coote (married name Maberly-Smith) was born around 1857, the eldest daughter of Joanna (Burrell) Coote and Frederick John Coote.

She married Stephen Maberly-Smith on 19 January 1881 at the Independent Church, Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.^[1] The couple had one child:

• Robert Frederick Maberly-Smith (1882–1935)^[2]

Joanna died on 4 September 1883 in Geelong, Victoria aged 26 years.^[3][4]
