MEMORIAL PHOTOS 0 FLOWERS 0 Clifford Wayne Call, son of the late Horace F. and Ruth (Walton) Call was born May 26, 1932 in Joplin, Mo. and passed away September 24, 2016 at Silverstone Place, Rolla, Mo.
He met his wife, Dorothy Evelyn {Newhook) Call, in Boston, Massachusetts while serving in the Navy and was married on April 7, 1956 and to this union two daughters were born.
He lived and worked as a machinist in Rockford, Ill. and retired in Licking, Mo. in 1997.
He thoroughly enjoyed gardening, reading and Cardinal’s baseball. He attended the Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church in Licking, Mo. prior to entering the nursing home.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela; brothers, Bill and George.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Evelyn Call, resident of Licking Park Manor; daughter, Ruth Ann Pappas of Springfield, Mo.; grandson, Andrew Pappas of Licking, Mo.; granddaughter, Jessica Pappas-Bland of Cassville, Mo. and a sister, Shirley (Call) Swinford of Portland, Ore.
A private graveside service was held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Willhite Cemetery with full Military Honors.
