Biography
Robert was born in 1892. He married Cora Victoria Gee. His obituary reads as follows.
"Mr. Burns was 80 years old at the time of his death. He was survived by his wife Ruth, daughter, Doris Minty, several grandchildren, his step-children and their families, as well as his sisters, Olive Martin (Delta), Mary A. Duff, (Long Beach, California).
He was predeceased by his first wife, Cora V. Chittick in 1956. Born in Omaha, Nebraska he lived in England & Scotland before moving to Airdrie in 1910.
Over the course of his life, he was a rancher, founded Red Top Products and the Saskatchewan Government House Co-op and operated Burns & McRae Reality".
