Biography

George is the oldest of nine children born to Enoch Burns and Alcinda Phillips. He married Ester E. Elliot on 28 Nov 1854 in Belmont County, Ohio. They were blessed with a daughter, Venora (Nora) born in 1857. George passed away in 1864 at the young age of 36. Ester remarried in 1876 to James Kirkpatrick. Ester passed away in 1916 in Springfield, Clark, Ohio.
