Obituary
Thos. W. Brown passed away at East Windsor Hospital, Tuesday noon, after a few days illness. Deceased, who was born in Chatham 81 years ago next July 24th, had resided in the village for the past 50 years. He was pensioned off the N.Y.C.R.R. July 1937. A few years ago he was taken to East Windsor Hospital. His wife, the former Margaret McRae, predeceased him 34Y years ago. He is survived by four sons, Lorenzo and Beriaard, of Windsor; John T., of Roseland, and Vincent of No. 3 highway; three daughters, Irene, Mrs. Doody Mallett, Marjorie, Mrs. Roy Holstein, of Detroit, and Marie, Mrs. Frank Kane; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Countryman, of Chatham, and Mrs. Sarah Patton, of Windsor. Funeral was at 9 a.m. Friday, from Marcotte Funeral Home, Windsor, to St. Mary's Church with Rev. Fr. J. A. Jordan officiating. Burial beside his wife in St. Mary's Cemetery.
