Ebenezer Allen was born on 22 January 1724 in Sandwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of Daniel Allen (1701–1773) and Elizabeth Hoxie (1700–1765).
Ebenezer married Susannah Goddard (born on 19 July 1729 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island; daughter of Daniel Goddard and Mary (Tripp) Goddard). Their known daughter was Susannah Allen (1755–~1833).
Ebenezer died on 22 May 1812 in Sandwich, Massachusetts, United States, aged 88.
