• Thornton was most likely enslaved but the name of his slave owner has not been identified.
• Thornton may have been living in Webster Co., Kentucky in 1870 and 1880. He may have been enumerated twice in the 1880 census. Parents--Sirus and Sara R. Wynn.
• A man with the same name and year of birth was living in Florida in 1920-1945 with his wife Annie McBride. His birthplace is listed as Georgia and Florida. See Thornton Wynn
• A man with the same name and similar year of birth was living in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1887-1894. He died 25-Sep-1894. He is not the same person as Thornton Wynn who lived in Florida from 1920 to 1945.
