Isabel Stevenson Wright was born on 21 January 1915, in New Brunswick, Canada.^[1] She was the daughter of James Wright and Euphemia Stevenson.

She married Barney Frederick McCarty on 28 October 1933, in Odell, Gordon, Victoria, New Brunswick, Canada.^[2]

Isabel died on 1 March 2001, in her hometown, at the age of 86. She was buried in Arthurette United Baptist Church Cemetery, Arthurette, Gordon, Victoria, New Brunswick, Canada.^[3]
