Biography

Priscilla Wood was baptised on 28 Aug 1813 in Muchelney, Somerset, England, United Kingdom, the daughter of Joseph Wood and Charlotte Scriven.^[1]

Priscilla (20) married Thomas Rodford on January 12, 1834 in Martock, Somerset. ^[2]

In 1841 Thomas and Priscilla and three children were living in Stapleton, Martock, Somerset ^[3]

In 1851 the family were living at Milton Falconbridge, Somerset.^[4]

In 1861, Priscilla, now a widower was living Milton, Martock with her children working as a Laundress.^[5]

After her husband Thomas died in Dec 1851, Priscilla married Joseph Cole on 1 Dec 1863 in Ash, Somerset. Priscilla was 50 and a widow, living at Milton, daughter of Joseph Wood (her name on the marriage register was Rodbard). Joseph was 48, a widower working as a labouer living at Ash, son of Henry Cole .^[6]

In 1871, Joseph and Priscilla were living in Ash, Somerset with Joseph's son John.^[7]

Priscilla died on June 24, 1879 and was buried Ash, Somerset, aged about 65 with her first husband, Thomas.^{[8] [9]}
