Death. James passed away in New Zealand, in 1926, aged 63 years.[3]
Burial. Following a service on 1st July, 1926, his remains were interred in a family plot at the Taita Public Cemetery where, in 1956, he was joined by his widow. Also memorialized in the single monumental grave cover are Robert James Williamson and Magdalene Taylor Williamson who died in 1905 and 1969 respectively. [4][5]
