Biography
Mary Weems, possibly the daughter of William Loch Weems and Amelia Chapman, was born about 1778 in Prince George's County MD. She died in Virginia about 1798, shortly after the birth of her only child, John Weems Gantt. [1]

- ↑ Mrs. Thomas Perkins Gantt (Sun 29 Oct 1905] says first wife of Henry Gantt was Mary Weems, niece of Mason Loch Weems. She died when her son John was an infant, at about the age of 20. I'm not sure that Mary is a daughter of William Loch Weems; however, he does say in his will that he has three daughters while only two names of daughters are mentioned in the documents I have.
