Biography
Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Watkinson and Ann Spencer, was born in 1875.[1]
Elizabeth was residing with her parents in Churchtown, North Meols (later part of Southport) in 1881 and 1891.[2][3]
She married James Cocker during the third quarter of 1898 at Ormskirk in Lancashire.[4]
In 1901, Elizabeth was working as a dressmaker.[5]
In 1911 she was aged 35 and living with her husband James, three children, and her widowed mother Ann, aged 68, at 22 Manor Road, Southport, Lancashire.[6]
They were still living at 22 Manor Rd at the time of the 1921 census (taken 19 Jun 1921), at which time Elizabeth reported being 45 years and 9 months old.[7]
On the 1939 register, Elizabeth's birthdate was reported to be 1 Sep 1875.[8]
The death of Elizabeth Cocker, aged 77, was registered in Southport in 1953.[9]
