Thomas Wallis was born on 25 May, 1750 at Wadhurst, Sussex, England to John Wallis and Elizabeth Botten.[1] He was baptised on 8 June, 1750 at Wadhurst.[2]
Little is known of his early life. However, he did serve an apprenticeship as a bricklayer with John Baker.[3]
Thomas married Mary Brooker on 3 April, 1774 at Wadhurst.[4]
Unfortunately, it appears that Mary did not live long although a burial record cannot be found at this time.
Thomas married Mary Baker, a widow, on 6 July, 1781 at Wadhurst. Thomas is shown as a widower.[5] They had at least five children:
Thomas died on 3 August, 1836 at Wadhurst.[1] He was buried on 8 August, 1836 at Wadhurst.[6] He was 88 years old.
