Biography

Phoebe Wallace died young.

Phoebe was born in 1896. She was the daughter of Dr. James Wallace and Edith Barker.

She was baptised on 30 December 1896 at Calcutta^[1].

Tragically she and her sister Ruth passed away on 24 September 1899 when a huge landslide (known as "The Darjeeling Disaster") engulfed their boarding school.

Phoebe, who was only 3 years old. She was buried on 25 September 1899 at Darjeeling Old Cemetery, Darjeeling, West Bengal, India^[2][3].
