Harriet Jane Vidler was born on 7 September 1873 in Cambewarra Village, New South Wales, Australia^[1], the twin of George and the daughter of John John Thomas Vidler and Jane Noakes and his siblings were Rebecca Margaret (Noakes) Knight [half], George Vidler [twin], Levi Vidler, Mary Jane Vidler, Sarah Vidler, Thomas Vidler and James Emanuel Vidler.

She married George Fullerd Hamilton on 20 October 1890 in Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia^[2], and their children were John Hamilton, George Fullerd Hamilton, Percy Hamilton, Lindsay Hamilton, Jeanette Hamilton, James Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, Ellen Hamilton, Doris Hamilton, Margaret Elizabeth Hamilton and William Hamilton.

Harriet died on 12 August 1932 in Burwood, New South Wales, Australia ^[3][4] and she was buried on Saturday, 13 August 1932 in the Church of England Section of the Rookwood General Cemetery, Cemetery, New South Wales, Australia.
