We recently left a message on your profile to check in with the Profile Improvement Project (PIP). Would you like to continue with the Project? If so, please respond to let us know. We would also like to hear from you with any ideas or suggestions.
If we don’t hear from you within 14 days we will remove you from the Project. You're welcome to rejoin the project with a quick Voyage refresher.
Sincerely,
Debi Hoag and Kay Knight, Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project
Robin Shaules, Project Coordinator, Profile Improvement Project
Your response is all that is needed to stay with the Project. Thanks for letting us know.
Debi
The Profile Improvement Project (PIP) is performing a check-in. The Project operates in a team structure with these participant PIP Teams -- The Category Team, the Unknowns Team, and three Biography Teams. There is also the Voyage Team which guides new Voyagers. See the Profile Improvement Project Teams for a brief outline of each team.
You're currently identified as a member of the Biography Team, working on profiles from your watchlist and other profiles that interest you. The other two Biography Teams work on Abandoned and Popular profiles from the provided lists. Please let us know if you are content with your current Team or would like to change to one of the others.
If you have not already done so, we invite you to join the email GoogleGroup and text chat Discord channel for our project. (You will need your Wiki ID for both). Neither is required; we also use the Profile_Improvement tag in G2G for Project announcements.
We thank you for all you do to help the Profile Improvement Project meet its goals. We would like to hear about the successes you’ve had and would also appreciate any feedback you have to help improve the Project. Please share your thoughts in a reply to this comment or via private message to one of us.
Sincerely,
Debi Hoag and Kay Knight, Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project

Thanks for your contributions to Puritan Great Migration (PGM) project profiles.
Like all WikiTree projects we check in with team members periodically to find out about their continued interest in the project. Would you please respond by February 5, 2024, to let us know about your interest:
Please respond to this comment on your profile, or if you'd like, send a private message to either Bobbie (Madison) Hall or S (Hill) Willson.
Thanks for all you do for PGM and WikiTree!
Regards,
Bobbie and Sharon, Co-Leaders, Puritan Great Migration Project
Thank you for contributing to the January 2022 Sourcerers Challenge! As you know, every source added to an unsourced profile improves our One Tree. Thank you for taking time from your own family history to help others.
Nan, WT Appreciation Team
I'm looking forward to working with you on our next Thon.
Karen - Team Captain
I sent you a private message on 29 Dec about your request to take the Profile Improvement Project's PIP Voyage. It would have been in an email from WikiTree with the subject heading "Welcome to the PIP Voyage (Wiki ID)" I am following up as I haven't heard from you. I was wondering if perhaps you didn't receive my message?
Pam
Thank-you for working on cleaning up duplicates! As for your question regarding Daniel-2286 and Colyer-164 being of the Quaker faith, I found them in Hinshaw https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015038929710&view=1up&seq=66&skin=2021&q1=Daniel (see also https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Encyclopedia_of_American_Quaker_genealogy) so they could have the Quakers Sticker on their profiles and Category: Salem Monthly Meeting, Salem, New Jersey. When people just give U.S., Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1994 Title: Ancestry.com as a source, I have no idea what they are looking at. You may find useful info at one of the project pages associated by image https://www.wikitree.com/photo/png/Quaker_Project_Workspace-5.
Happy Researching!
We're so happy to see you are still active on WikiTree and caring about the Dutch profiles. The Dutch Roots Project is looking forward to give the project a new fresh start to put the Dutch in a more prominent place on the WikiTree map. The project is currently managing over 50,000 profiles and the total number of Dutch profiles on WikiTree exceeds 500,000! Within the project we are monitoring the quality of the Dutch profiles and assisting other WikiTreers in producing those profiles. We would love to pick up some other tasks but to do so we need more volunteers. This is why we check in with the members of the DRP to see if you would like to help us expand.
1) Would you like to do some volunteer work for the Dutch Roots Project? 2) If yes, what kind of work would you prefer to do within the Dutch Roots Project? E.g. translating, sourcing, or something else you want to work on?
We hope for a positive reaction but please don't feel obliged to volunteer. We just want to have a group of persons we can ask to help us with certain activities
Kind regards,
Jan, on behalf of the Dutch Roots Project
We are currently composing lists of areas of interest and will put you on the sourcing and cleaning ones. Not speaking Dutch does not have to be a big issue. Dutch archive websites like openarch and wiewaswie (whowaswho) have a (partial) English interface, and you can always ask for translation in G2G. And then there are of course Dutch emigrants with insufficient sources to be remedied.
Happy hunting!
Jan
Thanks for contributing to Puritan Great Migration profiles over the last six months. Every little bit helps, so please keep those edits coming!
Like all WikiTree projects we check in with team members twice per year and it's that time again. Please respond within the next two weeks to let me know:
If you'd like to tell me about a particular project or family you're working on, I'd love to hear about that as well.
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks!

At our Dutch Roots Project page you can find all project info .. if you still have questions or need some help feel free to ask, we're all happy to help :)
Here's a direct link to our most important links for info for and about Dutch profiles. And here's the latest Project Update. (our Dutch Naming Convention and the part about the LNAB (=Last Name At Birth) are the most important and will help prevent duplicates ;) )
Good luck, have fun and thanks for joining !
I am a WikiTree DNA Project Volunteer Helper. I wanted to let you know that when you post DNA test information on a WikiTree profile, WikiTree needs to be able to see the profile Family Tree Tab (top of WikiTree Profile) to make DNA connections down the ancestral lines.
I would like to suggest that you consider changing the privacy level on this profile and all of the ancestors to be at a level that allows everyone to see the Family Tree tab. Click the "Privacy" tab and set your level to "Private with public tree" or "Private with public biography and tree".
For further information on the available Privacy levels needed to facilitate this, please see: Wikitree privacy controls
Thank you, Meghan
Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As I always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
Thank you for being a Wikitreer,
Guy Constantineau - Wikitree leader
I've added some information I came across on William D. Bowen. I added the War of 1812 sticker before I remembered I should have asked first! Sorry about that. Please remove if you're not a fan. Thanks, Laurie
Sheldon One Name Study Project
You recently proposed a merge of two Hannah Bird profiles. Thanks for finding and proposing the merge. However, you added a birth date, death date and death place to one of the profiles. I'm sure you had a source for the information, but you did not add the source when you added the info. With the added info, I will approve the merge request, but now I will have to repeat the research that you already did to find the B and D. Please remember to add your sources when you add info. That will save everyone time and frustration. Also, you added a death place in 1751 that included USA. The United States did not exist at that time, so this addition is automatically added to the Error Report. If you use dates prior to the American Revolution, please don't add USA. Thanks, Vic
Offered in a spirit of "Hope This Helps"!! Thank you for your interest...
I believe that we are cousins. Can you please test our two ID's and advise me of our connection? Thanks!
