Biography
Robert was born in 1791, a son of David Turpie and Agnes Bruce.
The death record of his son James (in 1876) describes Robert as a farmer. As Robert does not appear on any census record, and his wife was recorded in Scoonie in 1841, the 1837 death source below may well relate to this man.
