  • Whilst an Elizabeth Turner did indeed marry a James Henderson in 1828, Edinburgh I am not convinced that this Elizabeth married James. I had a look for a death record and found a death in 1873 County of Midlothian, Parish of Newington for an Elizabeth Turner married to a John Henderson who was said to be 68 at the time of death which would give an approx birth of 1805 which could tie in its just 3 years out from the actual birth year however the death certificate has her parents as "JOHN Turner and ELIZABETH Turner with unknown maiden name"
