LATE MRS. MARKEY.

Mrs. Margaret Matilda Markey, of Ridge-street, Merewether, died suddenly on January 3. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Turnbull of Lorn-street, Waratah, and was born at Wallsend. She was in her 27th year. Before her marriage she was employed by Scott's, Ltd. Her husband, Mr. Clifford William Markey, was formerly a resident of Raymond Terrace, and is employed at Newcastle Post-office. :The funeral at Sandgate was attended by relatives and friends. The service was conducted by Rev. H. Hobart, assisted by Rev. Canon Kitley, of Raymond Terrace. ^[5]
