Herbert was the first born son of Bridget and George Turnbull.

Bridget Frances ["Wife" of Bigamist Theophile Augustus NAUDIN & Married George Valentine TURNBULL] nee MURRAY was my Great GrandAunt Hore-1011 and one of Five Children born to Michael Murray & Joanna Heffernan. Born on the 12 May 1859 in Knockamore, Co.Tipperary Ireland she immigrated by her self at age 16 and was the first of her family to arrive in Australia.

Bridget arrived on board the "Strathearn" into Rockhampton on the 03 May 1876 ~~ 3 months at sea at 16 !! She travelled as an "Assisted Migrant Orphan".

Her Bigamous Marriage to Theo Naudin followed at 17 years old on the 04 Feb 1877 in Cooktown North Queensland. Bridget "Frances" married George Valentine Turnbull on the 01 Nov 1882 at St. Mary's Church Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, Queensland.

Bridget had 7 children - Louis Alexander Naudin 1877 and Charles Augustus Naudin in 1879 to Theophile Augustus NAUDIN - Herbert Louis Turnbull [Bert] 1882, George Valentine Turnbull 1884, Ethel Mable Turnbull 1886, Gertrude Adeline Turnbull 1888, Frances Turnbull and Norman Percy Turnbull 1893.

Interesting fact ~~ One of the children born to Theophile's Wife Charlotte MacNunn was named Louis Naudin and then along comes the first child born to his "Wife" Bridget Frances and he also was named Louis!!
