Robert Turnbull was born in 1891. His birth was registered in Eastwood. Mother's maiden name Paton.^[1] His parents were Robert Turnbull and Christina Douglas Paton.

In 1891 Robert, age 1 Mo, was the son of Robert Turnbull at 53 Herriot St, Pollokshaws, Eastwood, Renfrewshire.^[2]

In 1901 Robert, age 10, was the son of Robert Turnbull at 16 Martyr St, Glasgow Martyrs, Lanarkshire. He was a Scholar.^[3]

Robert married E A 7 Apr 1914.^[4] Her maiden name is probably Small, based on children born in 1915 and 1916 in Maryhill, that matches their daughter names and birh years.
