Mary Turnbull is a part of US Black heritage.

Mary was born before 1856. She is listed with names of enslaved persons that came from various papers of the Bowman-Turnbull family. She was loaned by William Turnbull to Mr. Freeman in 1856.[1]

She is listed as the mother of Thirby.
