Biography
James was born about 1805. He married Sophia Fraser about 1856. He passed away about 1882.

Research Notes
There are many sources missing for James including the 1861 and 1871 census and a death record. It has been suggested that he had a previous marriage to Charlotte Ingles in 1828, but no source has been found for this.
