Elizabeth's family arrived in New Plymouth in 1842 on the Timandra: Samuel (35), Elizabeth (32), Ann (12), Samuel (10), Sarah (7), John (3) and Eliza (10 months) [2]. On the Puke Ariki site for New Plymouth settlers is a photo of Elizabeth [3].
She passed away in 1882 in New Plymouth, New Zealand aged 74 years and is buried in the Te Henui Cemetery, New Plymouth, Taranaki [4][5]. Her find a grave profile [6].
