Biography

John Trefuses of Trefuses Esq 24 of Q. Elizabeth 1558+24 = 1582. ^[1]

John Treefuses married Mary, daughter and coheir of Walter Gaverign of Gaverigan, Eaq. ^[2]

John Trefuses, gent, married Mary Gavergan 17 June 1583, St Mabyn Parish Register.^{[3] [4]}

John first married Mary, daughter and co-heir of Walter Graverigan. In 1538 he is recorded as having matriculated at Broadgates Hall, now Pembroke College, Oxford. He was later a student of the Middle Temple. He died aged 41 in 1603 leaving 6 children and considerable assets to his son John who was aged 16.^[5]
