Married John Cruwys/Crewes 30 January 1553/4. She was the daughter of Christopher Tredinnick, Sherriff of Cornwall. She is mentioned in Christopher's will of 1531. John and Joan had at least seven children who were all born and baptised at Liskeard
In the History of Parliament: the House of Commons 1509-1558 [1] Bindoff gives her name as Jane Tredinnick, not Joan
