John is the son of John Trannack and Susanna Jago, of St Michael's Mount. He was baptised at Marazion on 2nd July 1767^[1].

On 13th May 1793, John married widow Rebecca Calf. Both parties signed the register with their names. Witnesses were George John, Elizabeth Trannack and Elizabeth Arthur^[2].
