Jacob was born in 1695. Jacob is the child of Jacob Tomson and Abigail Wadsworth. Jacob married Elizabeth Tilson in 1716. He died in Middleborough on 10 Mar 1789.[1]
In 1747, Jacob signed a receipt for his share of his mother's estate, and what was due to him for gravestones, and digging the grave. (Note: this was recorded about 1789).[2]
Probate
Jacob Tomson of Middleborough, gentleman, died intestate and on 4 May 1789, Jacob Tomson of Middleborough was granted the administration of his estate.[3]
His inventory was taken on 8 May 1789 in Middleborough. An account of his estate was recorded which included funeral charges, debt paid, and administration fees.[4] In 1792, a second account of his estate by Jacob Tomson was recorded.[5]
