Biography

George married Florence Nina Martin around 1901 and together they had at least six children. On 1 April 1903 George was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain of the 7th (Southland) Mounted Rifles Territorial Force 1902 - 1917. George passed away at the age of 47 and is buried with his wife in Easter Cemetery, Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand.^[1]
