Biography
Austin Tighe was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Austin Bernard Tighe was probably born in Sydney, New South Wales during 1887. He was the son of Mary Tighe.[1]
Austin & Florence had the following children (prior to 1920 only):
- Florence Mary Tighe, born 1914 in Ashfield[2]
- Margaret E Tighe, born 1916 in Burwood[3]
His wife Florence died in Ashfield on 9 June 1945.[4][5]
Austin worked at the gas works.[6]
Austin died in Burwood on 3 October 1950.[7] He was buried at Rookwood Cemetery on 4 October 1950.[8][9][10]
