Biography

Jean Thibeau, son of Jean Thibeau and Anne Mceagney, was born on 20 October 1829 and baptised on 27 December 1829 in Holy Guardian Angels, L'Ardoise, Richmond, Nova Scotia.[1]

Pierre (sic) Thibault, son of Jacques Thibault and Anne Mckennelly, married Susanne Pate on 11 January 1852 in Holy Guardian Angels, L'Ardoise, Richmond, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Raphael Pate and Marguerite Biret.[2]

Children:

  • Jean Thibeau and Anne Mceagney, was born on 20 October 1829 and baptised on 27 December 1829 in L'Ardoise.[3]
  • Pierre Alexandre Thibault was baptised on 22 May 1854 in River Bourgeois.[4]
  • Marguerite Monique Thibault was baptised on 4 May 1856 in River Bourgeois.[5]
  • Jean Antone Thibault was baptised on 8 May 1859 in River Bourgeois.[6]
  • Patrick Thibault was baptised on 17 May 1863 in River Bourgeois.[7]
  • Rosalie Thibault was baptised on 15 October 1865 in River Bourgeois.[8]

John Thibeau's wife Susan Patie died on 9 June 1909 in Richmond, Nova Scotia.[9]

Research notes

The marriage record of Jean with Suzanne has his name as "Pierre". This has led in some trees to conflation with Jean Thibeault and his brother Pierre Thibault (who married Margaret O'Toole). The given name on the marriage record seems to be in error. Everything else is in good order.
