Biography
Emily's father Elisha signed his Will on 25 December 1834 in Norfolk, Massachusetts. He made bequests of $1 to each of his 12 children by name (i.e.,,"Emily, wife of Anthony G. Ha____"), to be distributed one year after his passing. Their mother Anna received the bulk of the estate. She was to be the Executrix. Elisha died on January 8, 1835. [1]
Emily married Anthony Griffith Hanna in about 1833. They had at least three children (George Byron, Emily Amanda, Anthony Griffith) before his death in 1841.
Emily Hanna, widow, born in Weymouth, child of Elisha Thayer, died (age 83) on 24 March 1896 in Holbrook, Massachusetts, USA.[2]
