George Herbert Thake was born in September 1875 in Saffron Walden, Essex, England to George Thake and Emily Cowling.[1]
He arrived at Maryborough, Queensland, Australia with his family on the "Indus" on February 26, 1876.[2][3]
George passed away on August 4, 1896 in Brisbane.[4]
