On the 1911 England Census, Elizabeth is living at 22 Avenue Road, Scarborough, Yorkshire-North Riding, England with her Father, Alfred Samuel Tetley, a Secondary School Headmaster, Mother, Ellen Norah Tetley nee Lewis, sister Ethel Norah Tetley, brother, John Lewis Tetley and 2 servants, Kate Featherstone and Rachel Watkinson. She is attending school [2].
On the 1939 Register, Elizabeth is living as a patient at the David Lewis Colony in Bucklow, Cheshire, England. She is incapacitated [3]. The David Lewis Colony aimed to provide treatment, education and occupation for 'sane epileptics' and to promote the welfare of epileptics .
