Biography
Stanislas Tellier dit Lafortune was born and baptized on November 3, 1818[1], in L'Assomption, Quebec, Canada, the son of Marie and François.
He married Julie Duhamel Sansfaçon on October 2, 1838[2], in his hometown. They had seven children in 11 years.
In the 1871 census Stanislas (age 58), Journalier, was recorded as married in Joliette, Joliette, Quebec. [3]
He died, in 1899, and was buried 05 May 1899[4] in St-Charles-Borromée, Quebec, Canada, having lived a long life of 80 years, and was buried in Joliette, Quebec, Canada.
