The book "Thomas Taylor and Benjamin Branch of Nashville, Tennessee, and Related Families," by Ethel Taylor Ford, lists Robert's birthday as April 28, 1799. This is highly unlikely, as Robert married Eliza April 4, 1806 (he would have only been 6 years old), and the last Taylor child of Thomas and Martha was Martha Ann "Patsy" Taylor, born in 1794. Robert's birth is listed between Mary (b. 1777), and Hannah (b. 1784), meaning that 1799 is most likely a typo and should actually be 1779.
