FDR had been elected, but not inaugurated, when I was born. Herbert Hoover was still president. Retired Electrical Engineer, employed in semiconductor industry for 25 years; space programs for 13 years. Searching family history for 30 years - great-great-grandfathers Taylor; Park; Petty; Clements; Anderson(2); Paxson; and unknown Herren/ Herron/Herring. Family legend: Great-grandmother Mary Herron, an infant born in Illinois, October 1822, was carried on horseback, to Henry County, Tennessee, by her father.

Thanks for the generous offer. I've relied on vital records, census records, cemetery records, SSDI, etc. for credible information. I apparently need step by step tutoring to take advantage of the simpler procedure for posting source information using Wikitree Research Integration.
Although she is not s relative, there is misleading information posted on the profile of Martha E Anderson, ID 29339. She married Hezekiah Newton Davis. I was alerted to this fact when I entered information about my great-aunt, Martha Elizabeth Anderson ID.54839, who married William Columbus Anderson. She is buried in Staley Cemetery in Brown County, Texas. Her death date and death place is incorrectly on the profile of the wife of Hezekiah Davis.
Posted this comment to ID29339: Anderson-54839 and Anderson-26339 do not represent the same person because: Texas Death Certificate #22586, Missouria Elizabeth Anderson died 1 October 1916. Her father was Moses G Anderson. Her mother was (Jane) George. She is identified in various census records as Elizabeth, Martha E, ajnd Martha Elizabeth. She married her 1st cousin, William Columbus Anderson, about 1863. She and William are in Brown County in the 1870, 1880, 1900, and 1910 census records.
Martha E Anderson Davis, born Mar, 1836, was in Cleburne County, AR, in the 1900 census; White County AR, in the 1870 and 1880 census; Gwinnett County, GA, in the 1860 census. She appears to be the daughter, John Anderson and Rinda in the 1850 census of Forsyth Co, GA. She married Hezekiah Newton Davis 29 March 1853 in Forsyth County, GA.
Best regards, Rollie Taylor
I've learned the simpler Wikitree procedures in the last 4 months. There is much more to learn.
I am interested in a family not related to me, the family of the outlaw, Jesse Woodson James. He is included in the Notables or Outlaw Project. There are 3 unrelated individuals that have been attached to that family group. The only source cited is a family tree. These individuals are clearly not members of the family groups. There is a wealth of information and research about the family groups of Jesse Woodson James; his brother Alexander Franklin James; and their father, Rev Robert Sallee James. Individuals cannot be deleted. How can Robert James (abt.1820-abt.1870), Robert James (abt.1820-abt.1870), and Malvina (Miles) James (abt.1837-abt.1927) be removed/detached from the family groups?
DNA results may indicate a relationship, which does not prove they are closely related. They might be cousins, since they all apparently came from the same area in Kentucky.
Sometimes those who wish to be related to a notable character do not readily accept that they are not.
I have mentioned these erroneous relationships to Laura DeSpain. She has not had time to correct them.
Thanks, Rollie Taylor
