I adopted Andrew Taylor [Taylor-49749] and merged it with [Taylor-3684]. I sent a merge request for [Taylor-70880] to be merged into [Taylor-3684]. Once that merge is agreed to and done, then we can merge [Taylor-69342] into the lowest number. All are basically the same person. I think this needs to be done before we can merge all the Elizabeth Wilson's and Ann(e) Wilson's and get rid of all the duplicates.
Before merging you need to check the peripheral references and errors. Elizabeth died in 1770 not 1778 as Ann married Andrew in 1770. Also The children of each mother need to be correctly identifies and duplicates deleted or merged in the right location. The issue of Elizabeth and Ann also as you mentioned and their shared parentage as there are problems with which John Wilson and wife is correct. Sorry, been fighting the addition and changes made without research for years.
There is a very good website (www.elijah.org/genealogy/taylor1.htm) that has the entire Taylor genealogy through 8 generations. I have tried to contact the creator of this website to find out her sources, etc., but, unfortunately she has not responded to my emails. (It is a very strange coincidence that we have the same name and as far as I know, if we are related, I don't know how.)
When I have compared her data to my research, it is very compatible and reasonable............... just wish there were sources to be sure. I am quite confident about my line through Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of Andrew Taylor, Sr. and Elizabeth Wilson. Andrew Taylor, Sr. was married twice, to sisters. When Elizabeth died, he married her younger sister, Ann.
Again, there is confusion because brothers and sisters married brothers and sisters and named their children the same names. Difficult to separate who belongs to who.
Taylor-68709 and Taylor-3684 appear to represent the same person because: same parents and dates shown, no reliable sources for any of the data, please merge and provide sources
