Biography
Noah was born about 1787. The 1871 Lovell Directory lists Noah Tabor as a farmer living in the Hillsdale community in Hammond parish, Kings county, and also in Poodiac community; one or both of these may be Noah Tabor Jr., who married Marybe Sherwood on November 11, 1847.
There are three entries in the NB Land Grants Index for Noah Tabor; a petition in 1805, a grant of 250 acres in 1812 (along with several other people granted acreages, including 250 acres each for Jesse Tabor Jr. and Sr.), and a grant in 1816 for 200 acres (along with 600 acres for James Tabor and 200 acres for Jesse Tabor Jr.)
1851 Canadian Census Report shows Noah, age 64, living in Upham New Brunswick Canada. Lists birth year as 1787.[1]
