Sarah's obituary[1]
provides this outline of her life:
- born in Woodstock, Ontario
- went to Ymir and Creston, B.C. in 1902 to teach
- (Thomas lived in Ymir in 1901)
- married Thomas in Woodstock in 1904
- returned to Ymir and then moved to ranch in Cochrane, Alberta until 1909
- moved to Grassy Lake, Alberta where Thomas operated a blacksmith shop
- in 1926 they moved to farm near Pincher Creek
- moved to "town" (Pincher Creek} in 1951
Census records indicate that she and Thomas raised their family in Grassy Lake, Alberta. She lived in Fishburn, Alberta (southeast of Pincher Creek) in 1941.[2]
