19 Sep 1923 George Graham Sutherland emigrated to Canada. He went to join his sister Mrs Gordon of Cookstown, Ontario. His closest relative in the UK was his brother John Sutherland who was living in London.[2]

This is my dad’s grandad. He didn’t emigrate to Canada (or if he did he came back) I’m not sure. He moved to Glenbrittle on Skye, I believe the early 1930s. He married flora mckay, and they had 4 children (ally, Janet, George (Joe) and Willie) though I’m not sure if I have got the right order there). Janet was my grandmother.
