Nathan was born in 1740, Danbury, Fairfield, Connecticut, the son of John Sturdevant and Abigail Knapp.
He married Beulah (Unknown) Sturdevant before the birth of their daughter Rebecca about 1770.
Nathan was a private in Swift's Battalion in the War of the Revolution and was killed 27 Oct 1777; residence Norfolk, Litchfield, Connecticut. [1]
