Robert Stratton is part of a Bahamian family.
Robert Stewart Stratton was born 27 June 1890 in Dunkirk, New York to Robert H. Stratton and Agnes Turner Stratton.
He married Lilah Annette Roberts, daughter of John Goodwin Roberts and Emma Marion Roberts, formerly Roberts, 15 October 1915 in Marsh Harbour, Abaco. They had four surviving children: Persis Candace Stratton, Robert Lucien Stratton, Edith Christine Stratton, and Anderson Stewart Stratton.
Robert S. Stratton was a dentist and a Brethren evangelist who arrived in the Bahamas about 1913.
