George was a Farmer and upon arrival in Canada, George purchased Lot 33, Concession 2 in Usborn Township, Ontario.

Jane dies in 1867 in Usborne Twp, Huron County, Ontario. George dies on May 6, 1855 in Hensall, Huron County, Ontario.
