Biography

Marjorie May Stewart was born on 1 May 1916 in Illinois, possibly Fayette Co. where her family was enumerated in 1920 ^[1]. She was the daughter of William Curtis Stewart and Alta Margaret Leach ^[1].

Her family removed to Hot Springs Co., Wyoming by 1930 ^[2].

She married Hugh Bell Holloway before 1940, likely in San Francisco, California, though no marriage record has been located to date. This inference is made from the household of Hugh's mother, Emma Mae (Walker) Holloway in the 1940 census ^[3] combined with Hugh's WWII draft registration on 16 October 1940 that names Marjorie May Holloway as his wife ^[4] .

Hugh and Marjorie removed San Francisco for Healdsburg, Sonoma Co., California and later to Las Cruces, New Mexico ^[5].

Marjorie passed away on 29 January 2008 in Las Cruces, New Mexico ^[6]. Burial details are unknown.
