Biography

Absolom was born about 1776 in Virginia to William Riley Stewart. He married Elizabeth (Betsy) Cornwell about 1806; he moved to Morgan Co., Georgia after his marriage about 1806.

Children:

1. Elijah Steward, b. 1807, m. Annie Alford
2. Wilson Stewart, b. about 1808
3. Austin Green Steward, b. about 1819, d. 16 Sept. 1862 at Attala Co., Mississippi, m. Caroline Veal
