Biography

Benjamin Pershing Stewardson, Jr. was born on 22 January 1919 in Pulaski, Virginia. His parents were Benjamin P. Stewardson and his wife, Mary Ann Luezinia (Crowder) Stewardson. Benjamin was the fifth and final child born to Benjamin and Mary and was their only son.^[1]

Benjamin married Mattie M., as listed on his death certificate. The informant was his neice, Eunice J. Allen, so perhaps Benjamin did not have children. (see source below)

Benjamin died on 13 October 1986 in Martinsville, Henry, Virginia.^[2][3][4] Benjamin's Find-A-Grave entry suggests a burial place for him, but there is no photo of a gravestone as yet. It states Benjamin was laid to rest in the Tedder Cemetery in Rackettown, Wythe County, Virginia.^[5]
