In the 1880 Nez Perce Territory, Idaho Census Sanford Stevenson,35, is listed with his wife Rebecka, 23, and children Thomas, 3, and John, one month, born in April. Servant Florence Dunham, 16, is also in the household.
The 1900 Columbia Precinct, Douglas County, Washington Census lists Stenson, Sanford on Hertiage Quest (looks like Stevson, Sanford on actual copy). Sanford, 55, and Rebecca C, 45, married 26 years. They had eight children, five living.
Sanford is listed as born in Kentucky which is incorrect, should be Louisiana, per Rebecca's written life story. His father was born in Scotland, mother in Louisana. Rebecca was born in Arkansas, her father in Texas, mother in Georgia.
At home are Fredie, 20, born May of 1880 in Idaho; Harvey, 18, born born Jan ?, 1882 in Idaho; Hattie, 10, born November of 1889 in Washington and Waite, 8, born May of 1893 in Washington.
The 1920 Barry Precinct, Douglas County, Washington Census lists Steveson, Sanford, 74, and Rebecca C, 63 with granddaughter Lona M Repast, 12, living with them. Next door is son Elbe T, 42; wife Pearl, 27 and their three children.
Also in the same precinct is son Waite W, 27, wife Cora, 27, and three young children.
